RSS feed indicator

You can use Safari on Windows XP and Vista, and Macintosh OS X. To subscribe to Lily’s RSS feed, go to Lily’s News page and click on the blue RSS indicator at the right end of the address bar. The page then displays the RSS feed which you can bookmark like any other Web page. Choosing “Add Bookmark” from the Bookmarks menu is the most basic way to do this.

Placing the feed’s bookmark in Safari’s bookmark bar lets you conveniently access the feed, and know when we post new items. Find the orange icon for the feed at the left end of the address bar, and click and drag it to an empty spot on Safari’s bookmark bar. Safari then asks for a name for the bookmark, so give it any name you like. The feed then appears as a button on the bookmark bar. Click on it to see the available items on Lily’s feed. When we post new items, you’ll see a number in parentheses appear after the feed button, indicating the number of items you haven’t seen yet.
